Young Women in the Lead: A thematic paper on actualizing the nexus between Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) on the occasion of the UN Secretary-General’s third report on YPS to the Security Council

The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) prepared this thematic paper based on experiences in program implementation and advocacy with its local partners. GNWP wishes to express appreciation to its Young Women+ Leaders for Peace (YWL) networks, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as well as the national and provincial coalitions for YPS in DRC, and the Congolese National Technical Secretariat on UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (STN-2250) for their contributions.
