Research on Peace and Security

Research on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace and Security (YPS)

GNWP conducts groundbreaking research on the rights of women and marginalized groups, peace and security and youth movements around the world. In order to build gender equality, human rights and sustainable peace, it is critical to know what works and what doesn’t when turning policy into practice. We conduct meaningful research at the grassroots level to understand what programs and tactics are most effective in building peace and security out of conflict and crisis. By monitoring and evaluating the impact of policies and programs on those who are most directly affected, women and the communities where they live, GNWP can identify best practices and improve outcomes.
