With more than 15 years of international communications experience, Nicole Smith specializes in developing programs that amplify the voices of women around the world through strategic media relations, external speaking engagements, large-scale and intimate events, and key stakeholder communications. At present, Nicole is the Director of Corporate Communications at IAC, where she oversees corporate thought leadership, internal communications, employee advocacy, and media relations across IAC’s portfolio. She is also pursuing her Master’s degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Gender Studies at New York University, and serves as a Communications Consultant for UN Women’s Governance and National Planning Unit.

Prior, Nicole led Global Brand and Innovation Communications at Intel, where she created the company’s first global Digital Influencer Program, reinvigorated Intel’s fashion communications strategy, launched a corporate storytelling pillar on Virtual Reality, and shaped strategic partnerships and executive communications for female executives. Before that, she led Microsoft’s consumer media relations practice on behalf of Waggener Edstrom. Nicole cut her teeth in New York’s PR agency world and served as a Travel Contributor for About.com while living in Paris, France. Nicole provides volunteer consultation services to Vital Voices and ESchool for Girls. She received her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from New York University.
