Eliza is a Peacebuilding Communications Intern specializing in youth outreach. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Human Rights at the University of Chicago, and hopes to also receive a Masters in International Relations through their Committee on International Relations. At school, she is the Director of Programming for the Women in Law club where she helps plan speaker events to engage young women with both law students and women professionals in the field of law.
Eliza has always been extremely passionate about human rights– specifically justice for women and girls– as well as foreign affairs, and is interested in both studying the intersection of these issues and finding positive solutions. She wants to learn more about how to empower women and youth to mobilize for social change and create self-sustaining businesses in impoverished regions.
