Provision of social and health services to vulnerable groups in conflict-affected communities, including refugees and IDPs

Women peacebuilders used their networks to identify those most vulnerable during the COVID-19 crisis and provide them with social and health, including mental health, support.

In Moldova, women’s networks have increased support to women’s activists working in the conflict-affected Transnistria region through small grants, legal assistance and online counselling to prevent burnout. Similarly, GNWP’s partners in Ukraine provided online counselling to women leaders affected by burnout, elderly, LGBTQI persons that have been confined with homophobic family members, and other vulnerable groups.
