Program Officer, Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia

Natia is a Program Officer for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia at GNWP. She holds a Master’s degree in International Solidarity Action and Social Inclusion from the Charles III University of Madrid and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations & Marketing from the Free University of Tbilisi. Her academic interests include, but are not limited to peacebuilding, business, and human rights, sustainable development, migration, counterterrorism, sustainable media, among others.

Throughout her career, Natia has worked in government agencies, diplomatic missions, and the civil society sector. She has experience working on different projects to support the Localization of Women, Peace and Security at the local level, eliminate gender-based violence, and strengthen gender equality policy development In Georgia. 

Outside of her peace and security work, Natia is a board member of the social sports club “Gardasakhva" (“Conversion" in English), which aims to promote sports activism and youth involvement in sports. She is specifically involved in activities to support children and youth from vulnerable communities. 

Natia is fluent in English, Spanish, and Georgian. She has a working knowledge of Russian and Turkish.
