Michaela Zelenanska

Michaela is a former Peacebuilding Program Intern for Eastern Europe and South Caucasus at GNWP. She holds a double Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. She is interested in the intersection of international relations, conflict resolution and public policy.

Michaela held different positions in several countries in the public as well as private sectors, including public diplomacy advisor at the Slovak Embassy in Moscow, and political risk analyst for a Belgian think-tank. In Slovakia, she works with a local NGO promoting youth engagement.

Michaela speaks Slovak, English, Russian, and Spanish, and she is learning French.
