Kat Baron is a Master’s Candidate at New York University pursuing a degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in International Law and Human Rights. She received her Bachelor’s in International Relations from Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies. Prior to NYU she was a legal research intern at the Human Rights Foundation focusing on authoritarian regimes and a summer legal research assistant for the NYC Bar Association Task Force for the Independence of Lawyers and Judges. Kat is passionate about international affairs and law, human rights, human trafficking, transitional justice, and the role women peacebuilders occupy in these realms.
