Research and Advocacy Intern
Deadline: December 1, 2020
The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders seeks a full-time Research and Advocacy Intern for a 6-month period. The Research and Advocacy Intern will take part in advocacy, research, planning and programmatic work primarily in various region, including Asia, Africa, MENA, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, as well as in advocacy work in the other regions where GNWP operates and in global advocacy fora in New York. The Intern will work principally from New York City.
Peacebuilding Communications Intern
Deadline: December 1, 2020
The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders seeks a full-time Peacebuilding Communications Intern for a 6-month period. The Peacebuilding Communications Intern will take part in advocacy, media, and communications work regarding GNWP programs on women’s rights, gender equality, conflict prevention, peacebuilding and sustaining peace. The Intern will work principally from New York City or remotely, under the supervision of the Communications Coordinator.
Peacebuilding Program Intern for Africa and MENA programs
Deadline: December 1, 2020
The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders seeks a full-time Peacebuilding Program Intern for a 6-month period. The Peacebuilding Program Intern will take part in advocacy, research, planning and programmatic work primarily in Africa and MENA region, as well as in advocacy work in the other regions where GNWP operates and in global advocacy fora in New York. The Intern will work principally from New York City, and may be expected to occasionally travel with other GNWP staff to African and MENA countries (if public health guidelines permit) to assist in facilitating meetings and workshops, for 1-2 weeks at a time.

The Peacebuilding Program Intern will take part in advocacy, research, planning and programmatic work primarily in Asia, as well as in advocacy work in the other regions where GNWP operates and in global advocacy fora in New York. The Intern will work principally from New York City, and may be expected to occasionally travel with other GNWP staff to Asian countries (if public health guidelines permit) to assist in facilitating meetings and workshops, for 1-2 weeks at a time.

The Peacebuilding Program Intern will take part in advocacy, research, planning and programmatic work primarily in Eastern Europe and South Caucasus region, as well as in advocacy work in the other regions where GNWP operates and in global advocacy fora in New York. The Intern will work principally from New York City, and may be expected to occasionally travel with other GNWP staff to Eastern Europe and South Caucasus countries (if public health guidelines permit) to assist in facilitating meetings and workshops, for 1-2 weeks at a time.
