Jen Rauch is a second-year master’s student at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs pursuing a degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Gender Studies with a specialization in the United Nations. She previously worked teaching English in France and China, and most recently as an Immigration Assistant at a local nonprofit and as the UN Program Intern for OutRight Action International.  She is proficient in French and understands intermediate Chinese and basic Arabic. Her research interests include women’s empowerment, gender equality movements, and patriarchal resistance in traditional societies and post-colonized states. Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duquesne University.
