Foteini is a project coordinator consultant with Gender@Work, working on an external reflection on the implementation of the Secretary-General’s 2017 Gender Parity Strategy for the UN System. Foteini received her MS in Global Affairs in 2020, specializing in Gender and Transnational Security, with a focus on women’s post-conflict political and economic inclusion. She has interned with the UN Women Humanitarian Action and Crisis Response team and contributed to research projects on the UN Senior Leadership Dashboard and a survey of emerging threats and trends in counterterrorism for the joint CGA practicum with the UN Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate.
Foteini also has experience in research and advocacy in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector in Greece. She has also served as the Secretary General to the International Personnel Certification Association, working with international members to promote standardization in the professional sector. She has a bachelor’s in Translation and Interpreting from the Ionian University in Greece.
