Women peacebuilders and activists have used the ICTs to improve communication among themselves and build stronger and wider-reaching networks and movements. This is critical to the implementation of all four pillars of the WPS agenda. It can amplify marginalized women’s voices, ensuring more diverse participation, contribute to protection by creating safe spaces and support networks, multiply impacts of women’s conflict prevention work, and contribute to more effective relief and recovery.
