
Daria Larionov
Associate for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Peacebuilding Programs
Daria is an Associate for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Peacebuilding Programs at GNWP. She holds a master’s degree in state, society and economic development of modern Asia from the National Research University Higher School of Economics from the Russian Federation and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Moldova State University. She is also a 2022 OSCE-UNODA Peace and Security Scholar and a Youth for Disarmament Initiative representative.
Daria is a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment and peacebuilding and has been interested in youth issues since school. Today, she is a part of the European Youth Democracy Network chapter in Moldova and ex-vice president of Erasmus Student Network Chișinău. Before officially joining the team, she contributed to GNWP’s regional mapping of youth, peace and security initiatives in Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus and participated in the WIN – Women and Men Innovating and Networking for Gender Equality project. She also has a background in project coordination, business and data analysis, and has basic Python programming skills.
Daria loves promoting Moldovan wines to her friends, playing billiards and reading Agatha Christie books.
