Research and Advocacy Intern

Anne is completing her bachelor’s degree at Western University (Canada) in Political Science with a minor in Transitional Justice. Anne’s previous research has focused on the intersection of gender discrimination and institutional inequality.

Anne has previously worked for the Honourable Senator Marilou McPhedran (Canada) and served as the Office’s liaison for the HR-2600 Human Rights UniverCITY: Emerging Issues in Human Rights (University of Winnipeg).  She is currently an Outreach Assistant for the Canadian Council of Young Feminists. In her role, Anne works to increase opportunities for young feminists to take part in advocacy initiatives.

Anne is involved in Western University’s student advocacy team as an elected representative for the Faculty of Social Science. She is responsible for creating a strategic plan to increase female representation in leadership positions on campus. Anne is hoping to pursue a career in international human rights with a focus on gender.

Anne is fluent in French and English.
