Alani Frace is a second-year master’s student at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs pursuing a degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in Peacebuilding.

She has worked for SEED Foundation’s Anti-Trafficking Team in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. She has also interned at the Institute for Economics and Peace’s New York City Office as a Program Associate Intern for the Americas Region. Alani has volunteered as a Graduate Research Volunteer for WE ACT for Environmental Justice as well as a Volunteer Child Advocate for the Guardian ad Litem child protection program in Florida. She has lived in both Mexico and Colombia and is fluent in Spanish.

Alani holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in International Studies and one in Criminology and Law, from the University of Florida. She currently works as a Research Fellow for the Human Exploitation and Resilience Initiative at New York University’s Marron Institute.
